What to know
THE SESSION
Maureen’s sessions generally last about 1-2 hours. With her informal and natural style, she prefers working in client’s homes, backyards or favorite parks. Her goal is to capture a series of images that truly reflect the unique personalities of her little subjects. Choosing a time of day for your portrait session, when your child feels happy and free, is the key to a successful shoot.
WHAT TO WEAR
The focus of the shoot is always your child, so busy patterns and logos should be avoided. The clothing you pick out shouldn’t be stiff or complicated. Solid colors work really well and also textured fabrics like jeans, thick knits and corduroy. Bare feet are always preferred and nothing is cuter than bare baby bellies!
VIEWING YOUR PORTRAITS
Images will be available 2-3 weeks after the shoot. You will be shown approximately 20-30 images from your photo session in an online password protected gallery. Images are viewable for 14 days. All print orders are to be placed during this time. One week gallery extension is $25.
PAYMENT POLICIES
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your appointment. This deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards your session fee. Payments can be mailed or paid online by credit card.
NEWBORNS
The younger the baby, the better!
Scheduling your newborn session within the first 2 weeks is highly recommended. It's not too early to schedule a newborn session while you're still expecting. Please contact me at that time or as soon as your baby is born & I'll be sure to make myself available.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. Please call ahead so your deposit can be applied towards your next scheduled date.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
A great idea for gifts and baby showers! Gift certificates are available in any denomination and can be used towards a session fee, album or prints.
REFERRALS
As a thank you for a referral or returning client, you will receive a complimentary 8x10 print from your new session. *This offer not valid for clients returning for their multiple session packages.
